3D Model - Yukon Base Metal Project : Andrew and Darcy Deposit

Yukon Base Metal Drill Plan in Google Earth

Darcy Zone:

The Darcy Zone is located approximately 600 metres southeast of the Andrew Zinc Deposit. It lies within a 2,500 metre long zinc in soil geochemistry anomaly that extends to the south east of the Andrew Zinc Deposit. Only one hole had been drilled to evaluate the Darcy Zone previously, AN02-021, which intersected 5.5 metres at 7.5% zinc.

The Company recently received analytical results from six drill holes completed in the Darcy Zone. Exceptional analytical results have been returned, including:

  • 43.9m at 11.9% zinc from 139.3m
  • 28.3m at 13.6% zinc from 85.7m

The high grade, thick and shallow nature of the mineralisation at the Darcy Zone provides the Company considerable confidence that potential exists to establish a satellite mine to provide additional feed to any processing facilities to be developed at the Andrew Zinc Deposit. Mineralisation at the Darcy Zone remains open along strike in both directions.

Massive, coarse grained zinc mineralisation from the Darcy Zone.

Significant mineralisation was also intersected at the Adrian and Darin prospects, both of which are located within the same 2,500 metre long zinc in soil geochemistry anomaly as the Darcy Zone.
