3D Model - Yukon Base Metal Project : Andrew and Darcy Deposit

Yukon Base Metal Drill Plan in Google Earth

Scott Zinc-Lead Project:

The Scott Zinc-Lead Area is located 4.5km south-west of the Andrew Zinc Deposit. The geology of the area is similar to that of Andrew and consists of similar Selwyn Basin sediments considered highly prospective for Lead and Zinc mineralisation. Several variable sized Cretaceous bodies have intruded immediately adjacent to the project area..

Prospects within the Scott Area include the Scott South, Bordelaeu, Gentian and Red Precipitate Creek.

In 1999 a sample of shale from the Gentian Prospect (shown below) returned an assay of 9.29%Zn. Field work by Overland Resources in 2007 showed an open 300m long soil anomaly. In 2008, Overland Resources drilled 2 diamond holes at the Gentian Prospect for 180m.

The Gentian Prospect

In 2001 the Bordelaeu Prospect was identified 450m northwest of the Gentian Prospect. Grab samples assayed up to 3.8% Zn, 1.6% Pb, 11.5g/t Ag, 500ppm Cd and 516ppm Sb. Airborne EM and magnetic surveys were conducted by Noranda Inc over the area in 2000.

The Scott South, Bordeleau and Red Precipitate Creek Prospects have returned encouraging geochemical results to date.
